Indoor Range

The indoor range, which is also the club's main office, is located at 2621 E. 7th Street, Cheyenne, WY.

The range has 14 shooting lanes with a maximum distance of 50 feet.

We can accommodate most non-magnum calibers (NO .357 magnum, .44 magnum, 5.7×28, .357 Sig, or 17HMR).

The NRA Basic Pistol Shooting course, the NRA Marksmanship Qualification Program (Rimfire Rifle and Pistol), and the Juniors Program is held at this location.

The range is open for pistol shooting on Sundays and Tuesdays from 9-11am and Saturdays 3-5pm, except when there is a pistol class, holiday or other function. See our events calendar for specific days.

Non-members are permitted to shoot at CRPC facilities, but they must be accompanied by a member.

Cost for shooting in this range is $1.00 for members, $5.00 for guests.



Outdoor Range

The outdoor range is 320 acres located northwest of Cheyenne, with the entrance at the intersection of RD 120 and RD 217.

The outdoor range is home to numerous berms with a maximum shooting distance of 600 yards.

A 22 LR only range with steel targets, a shotgun range with a clay target thrower, a silhouette range with steel targets, a pistol range, a benchrest house.

To help decide which berm to use for shooting your particular gun, look at the bottom of the range rules.

Guests are welcomed to shoot on the outdoor range provided they are accompanied by a member.

During the summer months, numerous shooting events open to the public are held at this range.

The Bordello shoot is pistol shooting at steel silhouette target. Held at the outdoor range pistol house, every 3rd Sunday of the month at 1:30pm. This event maybe cancelled during bad weather or when it falls on a holiday.

A gate blocks access to the range, you will need to use your access card to enter.

Berms have blocks to accept target frames.
